Tonics – An International Sign of Peace
In WvW, using a tonic is considered an international sign of peace, and most enemies respect this convention. Within WL it is common to hear the phrase “Respect the Choya”; if an enemy is in tonic form (commonly as a Choya), then do not harm them.
Choya Peace Accord (December 24th, 2025)
The Choya Peace Accord on December 4th, 2025 started amiably with Castoran Choyas entering an enemy-held SMC to meet with two large pineapple plants, an enemy Castoran Choya, a small quaggan in a Kookoochoo the Incredulous costume, and a few enemies without tonic form.
Unfortunately, a well-meaning portal to bring in more Choya delegates sparked a spontaneous battle and the accord was broken.
